After 5000 yards of swimming today surely what I needed was Power Yoga arm night. Riiiight. I was prepared to be worthless in class. But, oddly enough I had tons of energy walking into class.
Arms were tired, sure. But, another mala of 108 pups. Crow, doode, military, diamond. Ugh, arms were really barking by the last set. Fuq.
Had to pull up in one pose because of my foot pain. To which I got a “what did you do NOW, Andrea?” from the peanut gallery. “Did you hurt yourself AGAIN running, Andrea?” I sheepishly said, yes. Scottish Stallion then says, “How’s that running working for you?” To which I took the two weights I had in my hand and started to direct them at his face. Naw, can’t do that. I like him too much. But, they all did give me shit for the next few minutes. :P
All in all felt pretty damn good after a rather hard arm day for me.
Was a bit tired by this point. But was determined to hit 5000 yards today. Last 200 was dodging rugrats jumping on my head.
Felt good to get this in today. I’ve been really struggling with the pain in all the random places. I’m more than annoyed with the weight I’ve put on without running. All these yards felt good to work all the kinks out.
I needed this.
